What was your first job & what did you learn from it?
My first job I worked at Rax and there I learned how to work with others, be flexible, take initiative, and how to provide great customer service.

What motivates you professionally?
The ability to help others grow and succeed all while making a positive impact on the business.

What should every potential franchisee evaluate when choosing a franchisor?
The ability to execute their initiatives and standards as well as being aligned with their vision and mission. Anyone can learn the business and the structure to execute it, but if they are not passionate about it or aligned it will prove to be a difficult and not an enjoyable experience.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
That I am 100% Puerto Rican and the first generation born in the US.

What is the most important message you want to convey to prospective franchisees?
Need to be committed to high standards and executing all programs and initiatives that come with the Circle K Franchise. It is an all-inclusive package that has brand recognition and is filled with support and efficient systems to assist in your business.

What do you like most about your current role?
That every day is different and the variety of great people I get to work with to achieve their financial goals.

What skills are essential to become a successful franchisee?
Attention to detail, direct involvement in the business, and passion for the business.

If you had to pick another profession, what would it be?
I would choose to be a physician or vet thus allowing me to help others be their best physically and mentally.

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
I actually have a combined slogan: Don’t worry about what you can’t control. Success at anything will always come down to this: attitude, focus, and effort. And these we do control.
